STRATE CHARITY SHARE SCHEME

For the company secretaries of listed companies, please note that STRATE is still very much committed in driving the Charity Share Scheme, which has as its objective reducing the number of shareholders with odd lot shares, while at the same time making a contribution to charity.  Together with Computershare, the STRATE team is proposing to market the Scheme by using the outside cover of envelopes posted on behalf of listed companies to their shareholders.  This is a very worthwhile project and very much to the benefit also of the listed companies.  Members are therefore urged to support the Scheme where at all possible.

Regards
